We currently have a PhD top-up scholarship available to start in 2015 or 2016 to work with Dr Emily Nicholson in the School of Life and Environmental Science at Deakin University, Burwood Campus. The student will need an APA, and will work on one of the key research areas or projects listed on our research page, or a related area of quantitative ecology or conservation science. Particular areas of interest include the IUCN Red List of Ecosystems, conservation planning, biodiversity indicators and scenario modelling to forecast change in ecological and social-ecological systems. Please contact Emily if you are interested, and please spread the word amongst your networks. Co-supervision with other researchers within the School of Life and Environmental Science at Deakin, or with researchers within the Quantitative and Applied Ecology group at The University of Melbourne is also welcome.
