I am very excited to start a new position at the University of Melbourne, and a new chapter in the life as an academic and researcher. I am based in the new School of Agriculture, Food and Ecosystem Sciences, in the Faculty of Science. I’ll be returning to my old haunts in the Old Botany building.
We will be joining forces with the Quantitative and Applied Ecology group , as well as the new Melbourne Biodiversity Institute.
We will be growing the group, so please look out for two postdoc positions, soon to be advertised, while new PhD students are welcome to contact me.
I also just began my new role on the Convention on Biological Diversity’s Ad Hoc Technical Expert group (AHTEG), who will work over the coming 18 months on operationalizing the monitoring framework of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, under the UN Convention on Biological Diversity.
